See the typical tourist attractions of Paris: le Tour Eiffel, le Champs-Élysées, le Louvre, etc.Go to Versailles, at least once & see all the history of Marie Antoinette- Visit Amsterdam
Visit Katie in Milan (see her blog here!)- Get at least a bag from Chanel, Dior or Yves Saint Laurent (a shopping bag, not a handbag, just to clarify)
- Go to Ladurée and Pierre Hermé for macarons
- Take photos of everything
- Improve my French language skills to a comfortable level
Make at least one really good friend among my classmates- Make at least one Parisian friend
- Drink espresso at least once (for a non-coffee drinker, this may be hard)
Attend a fashion show (unlikely, but why not?)well, sort of--I stood outside during PFW!Learn to like red wineGo to the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore- Visit the Paris mosque
- Go to one Catholique church service
Visit the Cemetery of Père Lachaise (the burial grounds of famous names such as Jim Morrison, Gertrude Stein & Oscar Wilde)- Find and eat döner kebabs
- Visit Strasbourg or Freiburg
Have afternoon tea in a tea roomSeel'Hôtel de Ville (the Paris city administration building)- Find and visit any WWII museums and/or memorials
- Spend time in le Quartier Latin (the Latin Quarter)
- Visit la Sorbonne Reading Room (and the rest of the Sorbonne campus)
I may add to or edit this list at some point, but this is what I have for now and I think that it is more than enough to keep me busy for four months.
